Outgoing server authentication: set the same as incoming

Step 1
click on the tools tab and click account settings.
Step 2
Clcik "New" if you are adding an account. If you want to edit an existing account, simply double click the accoutn you want to change.
Step 3
Select the option that includes pop3 and clcik next.
Step 4
Select "Manually configure server settings" and click next
Step 5
Select "Internet email" or any option tat contains pop3
Step 6
Fill in the details, as shown in the image.
Name = your name.
Email address = the account you are setting up.
Account type = POP3.
Incoming mail server = mail.your URL (e.g. mail.examplesite.com).
Outgoing mail Server = the same as in coming.
User name is your email address.
Password = the password for your email account.
Click remember password.
If all details are inputted correctly, this should work. As further validation click "more settings".
Step 7
Clcik the "Outgoing server" tab.
Select "my outgoing server (SMPT) needs authentication.
This should then allow you to select "Use same setting as my in coming server.
once that has been completed click the "advanced tab".
Step 8
Change the outgoing server (SMTP) from 25 to 587. This is not neccisary half the time however some email accounts such as AOL will block email from 25.
