Domain Names

Choosing the right domain name can be difficult. Try to keep it short and memorable. There are many extensions such as .net. for businesses .com and .co.uk are probably the best. Try to pick one which describes what you do.

Remember only letters, numbers and the - and _ symbols are acceptable.

Check domain name availability

Please note that .co.uk domain names must be registered for a minimum of two years, .name domain names can be registered for one, two or ten years. .com, .net, .org, .biz & .info domain names can be registered for any number of years from one to ten.

Please note that .uk.com, .eu.com, gb.com, gb.net & uk.net domain names must be registered for a minimum of two years.

Please note that .mobi, .gov.uk and .ac.uk domain names must be registered for a minimum of two years. Please note that restrictions apply to .gov.uk and .ac.uk domain names.
