Design and Development Services

Design and development are the core of our business and collectively allow the production of websites, custom software and graphics. The many sub-divisions in this section of our services demonstrate the diversity in the projects we have. We try to remain at the cutting edge to provide up to date services in both graphic and website design and in development projects.

Design

Great design is important to us. As the adage goes - A picture paints a thousand words - and that is what we try to do with our designs. Every design is targeted at communicating a host of information beyond any words used. Good design can say: "This is a really friendly company" or "This is a brilliant offer" without any help from text. Talk to us about creating designs to tell the world who you are and why they need you.

Development

How often do you say: "I wish there was an easy way of ..." when you are looking at a website or computer system? Our development services are there to help. We can develop systems for e-commerce, CRM, CMS, inventory control, order tracking, data handling and much more. If you need a website (or intranet, game or application) that does something then this is the service for you.

Starfish Solutions

A while ago we realised that around 90% of all the websites we made were one of two types. That is either a brochure where content can be edited easily or an online shop. Both systems are fully featured and allow us to give our clients a website of much higher value than we otherwise would with a typical budget.

If you’re putting a shopping cart area anywhere other than the standard cart side block, then you’ll probably want to show how many items are in the cart at any one time. Here’s how: $cart = Mage::getModel('checkout/cart')->getQuote()->getData(); if(isset($cart['items_qty'])){ if($cart['items_qty'] != 1) { echo "You have " .

Here’s a short list of magento codes to do some of the simple stuff. It’s a little empty at the moment but I’ll keep adding to it over time. Check if customer is logged in <?php $_customer = Mage::getSingleton('customer/session')->isLoggedIn(); if ($_customer) { // do stuff } ?> Get product image <?php echo $this-
