The day after a bad storm a man was on the beach throwing starfish back out to sea. A woman who was walking past stopped to ask what he was doing. He expained that he was trying to save all of the starfish that had been washed up during the storm. The woman exclaimed that it was impossible to save all the starfish so he should not waste his time. The man replied that just because something was difficult you should still do your best.
